Matching Fee ($50):
Your Matching Fee is paid at the time of booking your service with Family Clean and is separate from your regular service cost. It is not a deposit for your first service. Your service cost is paid directly to your Home Assistant on your service days.
$50 gets you access to the most selective home life matchmaking service in Australia. Every month from 4,000 applicants, we welcome only 40 new Home Assistants. Picky? Very. But that’s what the $50 matching fee is for. We kiss all the frogs so you don’t have to.
The Nitty Gritty:
- The Matching Fee ($50) is not a deposit for your first service. It is paid at the time of booking your service with Family Clean and is separate from your regular service cost. Your service cost is paid directly to your Home Assistant on your service days
- If we can’t find a suitable Home Assistant within our 2-week matching period, we will reach out to let you know and will happily provide you with a matching fee refund. Or, you can opt to wait as we continue our search.
- Once you have been matched from your initial booking, we are unable to offer a refund on your matching fee, but for your peace of mind, we are always on hand to help if you have any questions.
- Your matching fee for a regular service booking gives you up to 3 months of replacement support. A matching fee will only apply again should you need a replacement after 3 months.
Service Fee: Your service is charged at a flat hourly rate per hour per Home Assistant. This is paid directly to your Home Assistant on your service days.
What should I expect at my first service?

Eventually, they will know how to clean and organise your home just the way you like it.

Do I need to supply anything?
At Family Clean, we’re all about keeping things as clean and environmentally friendly as possible, while also maintaining a safe environment for your Home Assistant and your family.
This is why we ask you to provide your Home Assistant with all the required household cleaning equipment (think vacuum cleaner, mops, buckets) and your preferred eco-friendly cleaning products (think cloths, brushes, multi-purpose cleaning agents, glass cleaners, floor cleaners/polishes).
In addition to its hygiene benefits, this practice also ensures that your Home Assistant has access to any special cleaning agents that may be required for the unique surfaces in your home and/or are suited to your personal preferences.
Please ensure that your Home Assistant has everything they need to complete the tasks you have in mind for each service.
Kindly note: For best results, please make sure that all equipment is in good working order. If your equipment is not performing optimally (e.g., your vacuum has very little suction power or your stick vacuum only has the energy for a quick 10-minute clean), this will affect the outcome of your service.
