Life can throw many curve balls our way. Tensions build and the heat starts to rise, both physically and emotionally. Our body is a holistic mechanism; when a certain area is under stress, other areas must compensate, and then those areas start to give way too. I’m sure we can all relate to a time where we have felt as though we are holding together by a thin thread; this can affect not only our health and our lifestyle, but also our relationships with the people around us.
Recently, I suffered concussion and am still, three weeks later, feeling the effects of it. Sometimes this makes me unnecessarily short with others, a quality no one likes to see in themselves. Severe headaches have, in turn, effected my energy levels and sleep. Yes, pain killers always help, but again, I stress that our souls are living in a ‘holistic mechanism’.
I found the phrase ‘stop to smell the flowers’, although a cliché, a truthfully wise one. Many are doubtful of aromatherapy, but I urge you to give it a go. Applying orange oil to my temples and wrists (as we commonly bring our hands up to our face), I have truly experienced an uplifting relief, feeling more clear headed and relaxed. The outer skin of the orange fruit has proven to aid circulation, digestion, immunity, stress levels, pain and more.
So, the world is honestly your oyster when it comes to the art and science of utilising naturally extracted aromatic essences from plants to balance, harmonize and promote the health of body, mind and spirit. At Family Clean we also use eco-friendly, naturally aromatised products to provide a more holistic clean for your home.
