Freedom. It’s a powerful yet ambiguous word that allows one to interpret it and prioritise it in many different ways.
Driving in the car on Saturday the radio brought to my attention that it was Remembrance Day. The 11th day of the 11th month, a day where we take a moment out of our busy lives to think about a different time, a time where people fought, and still fight, for the freedom that we dwell in here, today. So, on the 11th hour my mum and I sat in silence and as the beautiful bag pipes weaved their way into my heart I truly felt a deep sense of gratitude. We drove on, but my eyes were drawn to a caravan parked in a driveway with the block letters ‘FREEDOM’. It felt ironic how I had just heard a speech on people dying for our freedom in battle where there stood a starkly different definition of what freedom also might mean to people – the freedom to just hit the road, travel and not look back.
It reminds me how many things in life can be perceived from various angles…
What does freedom mean to you?
We’re redefining housekeeping and we invite you to join the movement!
At Family Clean we want to give you the freedom to do what you love, but we also want to give you the freedom to choose what you want us to help you with. We believe a more tailored and flexible approach will allow you to feel the magic within your personal budget – making everyone happy! So, it’s totally up to you whether you choose organising the pots and pans cupboard over having your oven cleaned OR having both, and it’ll cost no more or no less – we’re trading in time baby, we’re trading freedom! Freedom also means ‘no fear’, so please don’t be afraid of simply asking whatever you want done in your home. Change it up a little, mix and match your tasks depending on how busy your week is, the ball is in your court now.
Your wish is our pleasure.
