Booking your first regular cleaning service is exciting but it can also raise a few questions if you’ve never used a cleaner in the past. Here is what to expect when your cleaner arrives for the first time..
Our MotherDuck girls will confirm the date and time of the initial meeting, as well as the names and contact details of the cleaners who will be looking after your home. If you have pets you’d like us to be aware of, or any parking restrictions or security measures for your building, we’ll confirm all this with you. We will also double check the contact details we have for you are correct.
You don’t need to clean before your cleaner arrives but it does help to pick up things like paperwork or clothing. The less time your cleaner has to spend getting to surfaces, the more time they have to do the cleaning you want them to do.
Please if you can be available to meet your cleaner, just for the first service. It makes a working relationship better if you have met face-to-face so you know the person who will be coming into your home. Show them around your home, letting them know in each room what you want to be done so that you can agree on a schedule of work to do in the time you have booked. This is a great time to point out any particular objects or areas you want particular attention paid to, or not touched at all.
Check with your cleaner what equipment they will need, and where they can find it. Family Clean supplies all cleaning products, which are eco-friendly, but they may need access to a mop, bucket, and vacuum cleaner.
Once you’ve met your cleaner, showed them around, and talked to them about a schedule, you can relax and let them take it from here. Family Clean is incredible careful about who we recommend because we appreciate you’re entrusting us with your most important place and possessions. Our cleaning teams are highly motivated, superbly skilled professionals who will treat your home with care and respect.
Finally, if you every have any questions, want to arrange an extra cleaning service, or need to let us know of any changes just contact our Mother Ducks who will be happy to help.
